The main objectives of this day, organised during Black History month by Bath Against Racism (BAR) , BaNES Equalities Team and Fairfield House (FH) are:
- Solidarity with all anti-racism groups and zero-tolerance at Bath City of racism
- Celebration of BAME culture through food, music – and theatre, with a visit by and half-time interview with Dougie Blaxland, writer of the Kick IT Out-commissioned play about racism in football, The Third Degree.
- We also hope to present at half time a pack of season tickets donated by local businesses and individuals, for use by local refugee families, to Bath Welcomes Refugees.
- Imperial Voice radio from Fairfield House will take vox pops through the day, and BAR are hoping to put on a fundraising music festival in the evening.
